Chef

  • 1997     Assistant to the Director of Montana Five Rivers Festival of Film. Chef for the fund-raising dinner and internationally acclaimed film, Big Night (directed by Stanley Tucci). Catered gourmet dinner with Big Night food stylist Deborah Di Sabatino, chef Greg Patent, and chef Christine Staggs. The event was featured in The Big Sky Journal.
  • 1996    Chef, The University of Montana Film Centenary Committee. Planned and catered dinner honoring major producers, directors and other film- industry luminaries such as Sydney Pollack and Liliane de Kermadec.

I was born in Norway and immigrated to the USA in 1961.  I became licensed in California and worked there for 25 years as a registered nurse. I now live with my husband in Missoula, Montana.
I count being married to the same husband for over 45 years and having raised 3 amazing children among my finest accomplishments.  I think, however, that my passion and joy for cooking have contributed the most to making One, Two, Three, Cook for Me a unique and important book.
